Peace of Mind for the Future
At MP&S Legal Partners, we understand how important it is to plan for the future—whether it’s protecting your assets, ensuring your wishes are honoured, or appointing trusted people to manage your affairs if you become unwell or unable to make decisions.
Our Estate Planning Package offers a simple, affordable solution to give you and your loved ones peace of mind.
Peace of Mind for the Future
As life circumstances change, keeping your estate documents up to date is essential. Without the right documents in place, decisions about your finances, health, and assets may be made without your input, or your estate may be distributed in ways you didn’t intend.
A Will outlines what you want to happen to your property, savings, heirlooms, and other assets when you pass away. If you die without a Will (called dying intestate), your estate will be distributed according to the Succession Act 2006 (NSW). This may not reflect your wishes, and your estate might go to relatives in a strict legal order, even if they were not your preferred choice.
An Enduring Power of Attorney allows you to appoint someone you trust to manage your financial and legal affairs if you can’t do so yourself—for example, paying bills, selling property, or managing investments.
An Enduring Guardianship document appoints someone to make lifestyle and medical decisions on your behalf if you lose the capacity to make these decisions yourself—such as where you live or what medical care you receive.
Our process
We aim to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible:
- No-obligation consultation with one of our solicitors to discuss the purpose and benefits of each document.
- If you choose to proceed, we will prepare your documents and arrange a second visit to:
- Review and sign your documents.
- Provide you with certified copies.
- Hold the originals securely in our safe custody service free of charge.
We also offer the option to complete the initial discussion over the phone or by email, requiring only one in-person visit to our office to sign your documents. For clients with limited mobility in the local area, we’re happy to visit you at home.
Important note
Our package includes a Simple Will. For more complex estates, blended family situations, or testamentary trusts, we can provide a tailored service—additional fees apply.
